Ascent Wellness Campus
A Campus for Accessible, Trauma-Aware and Connected Wellness Services
A Wellness Community
We offer physical and mental health informed wellness services - Fitness, Yoga, Mindfulness, Nutrition, Music Therapy, Peer Support Services & PT - all under one roof.
Our mission is to create welcoming spaces that are easy to navigate and that provide access to a list of services that work well together when added at the same time.
Our sole purpose is to create an enjoyable practice with you and to simplify access to a support team. Come visit!
Who Are We ?
We are, above all, a wellness community. Our model is a model of social justice: we believe that quality wellness services should be available for the whole community.
We understand that wellness spaces/services can be standardized in ways that only reach a small slice of the population, so we will actively listen to our clients to create a practice space that aligns with their personal needs, vision and intersecting identities.
Our mission is to constantly grow and explore how to be a diverse, culturally-affirming / multicultural, accessible space for our community. For this, we have an internal education team and clinically-informed supervisors that support our growth.
Finally, we aim to be a positive part of our community by honoring our natural surroundings and resources.

We provide in-person and online services in spaces that fit your needs. In-person services happen out of our movement clinic, natural spaces in WI and client's homes.

A Literal Marriage of Ideas
Our work with clients wanting to improve their quality of life and vitality started about a decade ago when Tony Langtimm created his first adaptive fitness business in Milwaukee. The mission statement of the gym was to create accessible services for the Milwaukee community, based on the ASCENT method. [...]
Following research-based guidelines regarding COVID-19, the Ascent Wellness Program will continue to abide by all the necessary safety practices (especially as seasonal increase in number of cases and new variants happen). The Ascent Wellness Campus is currently open at 440 W. Vliet Street in a space that was designed during the pandemic. At both locations (Downtown Campus and Bayview Clinic) AWP practices disinfection of spaces and used materials per session. Our spaces are permeated with filtered air, allow comfortable distanced movement and our staff is encouraged to mindfully use masks when necessary. Telehealth sessions are offered as folks report their health status and as they go through testing and quaranteening.
Ongoing Collaborations/ Contracts:
The Ascent Wellness Program holds contracts with the following Agencies/Organizations/Programs for the mental health clinical support work we do. We are thankful for the Behavioral Health Division of Milwaukee, the Comprehensive Community Services professional network in Milwaukee providing holistic mental health services and multidisciplinary mental health teams for clients (it's a great source of growth and fulfillment to work in the network!), the Wraparound Milwaukee, REACH, O-YEAH programs and CLTS waiver and IRIS. Work with the M.S. Population are offered through Ascent for Life, Inc.
We apologize if not all logos are represented but we are in a continuous process of updating our website.
Ascent Wellness Campus Land Acknowledgment:
We offer gratitude and we pause to acknowledge and recognize that we are on traditional Potawatomi, Ho-Chunk and Menominee homeland along the southwest shores of Michigami, North America’s largest system of freshwater lakes, where the Milwaukee, Menominee and Kinnickinnic rivers meet and the people of Wisconsin’s sovereign Anishinaabe, Ho-Chunk, Menominee, Oneida and Mohican nations remain present. We are on unceded lands with a long history of oppression, colonialism, erasure and occupation. We are committed to operate with this awareness and not cause further burden on our communities. We invite you to learn more and donate to local and/or national organizations (UWM list here) and to learn more on active allyship, particularly about how you can support Tribes directly through informed action.
